My work experience spans from marketing, pre-k -teacher, and Realestate agent; but it has always been a dream of mine to work with those who have addiction issues. As part of my degree with Lonestar college , I was required to do a 300 hour internship in the field of addiction counseling. I received training on how to facilitate groups, challenge addictive thinking and behavior, how to conduct myself professionally in correction facilities, write progress notes, and give updates on a clients progress to judges and probation officers. Specialties: I have thirty years experience caring for someone with cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, and autism.
