After working for the Local Authority and in the car building industry for 17 years, I became a Police Officer in 2002. This line of work provides the perfect environment in which to use my excellent interpersonal skills to make a difference to the community and I find it very fulfilling.Ten years ago I took the opportunity to take on the role of Officer Safety Trainer ( O.S.T ) within my force. As well as imparting my 0.S.T skills and knowledge to force colleagues, I regularly train operatives from external agencies. Recently, the role has been expanded and I now train civilian public facing operatives in managing and resolving conflict. I set up Alpha Crisis Training in order to provide comprehensive training packages to those tasked with working in crisis situations or in situations that have the potential to be. Although I had these types of role in mind, my services are not exclusive to to that sector. Indeed, I recently hosted a series of " Mini Medics" courses. These are non regulated First Aid courses aimed at 8 - 11 year old children.I can provide Ofqual regulated training and certification in a wide range of Advanced First Aid and Mental Health First Aid. I also offer Conflict Resolution/Management training, benefiting from my wide ranging knowledge and experience of this subject. I can deliver any of these subjects at your company premises if needed and as well as providing an excellent standard of training, I offer ongoing advice and support, post course.
