In this role, I play a key role in leveraging exceptional leadership talent in establishing and managing the performance of 80+ board, volunteers, work-study interns, and part-time staff members. Along with strengthening long-term professional programming/community relationships by setting the mission, strategic goals, and operational requirements of the organization, I also streamline data management, program assessments, finance, and fundraising processes through the execution of systems. Moreover, I ensure the smooth functioning of the organization by designing and executing policies, procedures, training, and recruitment programs as well as spearheading end-to-end operations of a yearly full-time summer youth program for 45 school-aged children. Responsibilities include the enhancement of Mentoring mentors’ image by being active and visible in the community and by working closely with other professionals, civic and private organizations. Serving as Mentoring Mentor’s primary spokesperson to the organization’s constituents, the media, and the general public.
