Intel Hudson – Lab Technician: Supported the Platform Validation Engineering lab for the validation of both Itanium and Xeon processor and supporting chips sets.  Performed rework and ECO updates to the system board of a variety of different platforms. Maintained the firmware of all lab platforms to the level requested by engineering. Performed Installations and ran tests, analyzing the results to determine system stability. Work with engineers to debug hardware and software issues as part of the validation effort Qualified in debugging hardware issues to the component level and applying the proper repair. Maintained proper inventory control of IP and HVI.  Maintained close inventory control of all components in each platform. Worked to support the cabling, setting up and maintaining of the network infrastructure with in the lab. Experienced with installation and configuration practices for various operating systems including Windows, Linux, and SVOS. Experienced with installation, execution, and update maintenance of Python and Python test scripts.
