I'm passionate about developing ML systems that bring value.During my university days, I discovered the world of probability theory and econometrics, and it was like a lightbulb went on. Soon realized that econometrics was just a small part of the broader data science universe, and that's where I dove in headfirst. This was a turning point in my life. I saw the numerous possible DS applications that could make our world closer to science fiction books (I remember books that described high-quality ASR systems were only in fictional PDAs). Fearless of new technologies, I embrace them to make the world a better place.I relish the opportunity to work on ML systems from scratch starting from the very definition of a problem. I enjoy learning more about the various areas that require DS, which shape today's world and predict tomorrow's. With my technical leadership experience, I motivate my colleagues and help them develop. Some of my specialties include time series analysis, academic econometrics, causal inference, and Bayesian modeling. I also enjoy designing and developing computer vision systems, optimizing neural network inference, and contributing to ML-related open-source projects in my free time. Aside from computer vision, I have basic experience in ASR and multimodal systems. I am always up for a challenge.
