And on projects or work items where I am the sole leader I function very well too and give consistent feedback to the client’s liking.My technical skills are high in the fields of geoscience and industrial engineering. Having total of 15 years working in different levels from student/operator level until project manager level. With half this time spent in different domains in the geoscience space. Namely; exploration geology, mining geology, resource geology, geophysics and geometallurgy.The latter half of time I acquired knowledge and skills working in the business improvement & projects domain and mining engineering. High level decision making and influence are key for this role. It got me exposed to supporting different departments across the value chain. Spanning from plant operations & engineering, mining operations & HME, safety and human resources. My cognitive process profile is at parallel processing, meaning I am strategic and look at systems with a view to integrate and not have silo running teams. My exposure on operating model has entrenched that even more as it is a vehicle that looks at the entire mine business operating framework.I gained work experience in the mine planning department working as a mine planning reconciliation specialist who reviews the planned areas in the one-year business plan as well as the short term. Highlighting the areas we are behind on and driving change to return back on plan at the areas we are out of sequence on. An additional responsibility was coordinating and driving the work on the mine works program. This spanned a wide range of stakeholders and big scope of information.I can move between modes of work being hands on, but most often being more tactics and strategy oriented. Having a keen like for innovation and vision on cost awareness. My people skills are well rounded to work with diverse teams and being able to draw on the positives of such. I also engage well with different levels in the organization, be it from the operator level up to the general manager level, and even operations manager as I have had to do work supporting an item requested by the COO. My friendly and open minded approach to tasks and people bodes very well for achieving good collaboration in the work environment. I trust easily and inspire trust from colleagues, am loyal and honest.
