I'm a designer. I'm known for my tireless drive and positive orientation for divergent thinking and hands-on results. My work in the past 15 years was held by academia, by international humanitarian organizations, and by companies. I've worked for governments and non-governmental organizations as diverse as MSF, Humanity and Inclusion, Mercy Corps, Oxfam, UNICEF, UNHCR and the Red Cross. My experience grew from engaging admirable persons in design: health professionals, from surgeons to community health workers, and sick persons and their caregivers. I live and breathe humanitarian innovation, as a researcher, strategist and manager. You might have seen me in pannels or read my work. I published in academic journals such as Global Health: Science and Practice Journal, Journal of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain, Applied Ergonomics, and Int. J. Human Factors and Ergonomics; and I've shared my thoughts in numerous conferences and platforms including Global Health Conference, Appropriate Healthcare Technology Conference, Global Humanitarian Technology Conference, the Relating Systems Thinking & Design Symposium, NESTA, Aidex, Devez, and Wired.Feel free to reach out to know more.
