I am a professor of mechanical engineering at University of Diyala, Iraq, where I have been teaching and leading research projects for over ten years. I have a PhD in renewable energy from West Virginia University, USA, where I graduated with outstanding performance and honor degree. My field of expertise includes HVAC and refrigeration, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and hybrid electric vehicles. I have designed and estimated cooling-heating loads and air ducts dimensions and distributions for various buildings, such as hospitals, offices, and conference rooms, and worked as a consultant for several HVAC projects. I have also developed software to simulate hybrid electric vehicles using Autonomie and Matlab, and published multiple papers and presented at several conferences in my field. My mission is to advance the knowledge and practice of sustainable and efficient energy systems and to inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators.
