I've had a few different roles in my engineering career. Mostly in the point of sale area, but that doesn't mean my skills do not translate to any other industry. I am experienced in business analysis, software test, manufacturing test, bill of material creation and implementation, product development, hardware and software integration and User Interface/User Experience.I love working with leading edge technology. I helped integrate new technology and software applications on a prototype hardware fixture. These included things like touchscreen, palm and facial identification and loyalty rewards programs. I also have worked with other companies to integrate and implement their products with computer systems configurable to a company's requirements. My experience in software and hardware validation really came in handy for those projects. Who knew that creating and implementing a new network architecture would be so fun. You gotta love those PCI security requirements. Going back to my point of sale responsibilities, I was the product engineer for the Nucleus POS for Wayne. I introduced 12 different hardware platforms during this role. I worked with IBM on our business and technical requirements and also validated the hardware and software before being sent out to the field. I love problem solving and troubleshooting. I've worked with many company's engineers and executives to create products and systems ready for the field.
