Supplement ongoing research and provide new information on several new refugee groups. We will focus on how different refugee groups have adapted to their life in Nebraska and the Great Plains, how Lincoln came to be known as the “Refugee Friendly City,” and the impact of refugees on Nebraska’s social, political, and economic outcomes by providing archival research, conducting interviews, and looking beyond the books.

Assist and guide nine incoming college freshmen as they embark on their college journey. Offer an array of support resources, including personalized 1:1 coaching sessions to address their specific needs and provide reassurance during this critical period.
