Founder And Chief Engineer
CurrentAt OuterVascular, the primary goal is to create a cutting-edge device that regulates the human body temperature, ensuring optimal thermal comfort for many professionals. In my role as Founder and Chief Engineer, I have spearheaded various crucial tasks and achieved significant milestones:• Led iterative design processes to develop multiple prototypes, resulting in improved functionality, enhanced power consumption efficiency, and streamlined product assembly.• Energy Efficiency: Achieved an outstanding 80% reduction in power consumption, optimizing energy usage and lowering it from 720 W to a remarkable 144 W.• Accomplished 56.7% enhancement in cooling performance, significantly reducing the temperature by 8.5°C (from 15°C to 6.5°C), while simultaneously maintaining lower energy consumption levels.• Utilized 3D modeling techniques to design the mechanical casing of the product, which was then manufactured using advanced 3D printing technology.• Developed the device firmware using C++ programming and the Arduino tool chain, enabling real-time data reading from multiple sensors and the management of actuators in a closed feedback loop.• Designed electronic circuits encompassing temperature sensors, microcontrollers, power regulation, physical controls, and a user-friendly USB interface.• Developed a Python-based desktop application that lays the foundation for future integration with cloud infrastructure, allowing seamless ingestion, analysis, and visualization of real-time sensor data from the device via a convenient serial interface.• Showcased the device's impressive capabilities at the esteemed technical conference, Teardown 2023. Through these contributions, I have played a vital role in advancing the development of this innovative device, bringing us closer to achieving our mission of providing superior thermal comfort for many professionals.
