I am a videographer for Nomad Productions INC, a production house specializing in a range of business events, concerts, trade shows, and conventions. My role in the company has me maintain audio/video equipment, set up and prepare events, run cameras, and live production switching. I have extensive experience with Blackmagic products and Adobe Cloud softwares. After 4 years with the company I was promoted to warehouse manager. My duties as manager had me lead my team to make sure all gear was properly maintained and was delivered to each production on time and in working order. I also had to upkeep a fleet of commercial vehicles. Prior to working with Nomad, I wrote on various social media accounts for Total PR, a boutique public relations firm. At the University of North Texas, I wrote, directed, and edited several short films, and I was an audio producer for the NTTV show Hands Off. Hands Off required extensive dubbing and editing putting me in the position to become very familiar with Adobe Audition and Premiere. I directed a promotional video for the Lewisville based charity A Journey to Dream, where I worked closely with underprivileged teens.I have a great passion for editing film, and continue to feed that passion and hone my skills. I find joy in the work I do at Nomad Productions, how I am challenged daily and constantly learn new things, which never lets me have a dull or boring moment in my life. I have met amazing and interesting people in my line of work, and have produced shows and events for very important charities and businesses. I am always interested in hearing from former colleagues and peers, or just like-minded professionals, so feel free to reach out and connect.
