    After the attacks of 9/11/2001, I served in a role as a contractor at the NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner (NYC OCME). A prime vendor developed the Victim Identification System for the NYC OCME. As a contracted Director for the prime vendor, I recruited and led the best technical and management resources available to accomplish our mission. With much of the funding acquired from FEMA at the OCME, in a state of chaos; we led a successful project. Our team of managers and IT professionals developed software to support the most advanced DNA lab in the world. The result was that dedicated people were further enabled to efficiently and effectively identify the victims of the attack, using DNA and other forms of identification thus enabling families to put their loved ones to rest. I feel my part was small, however the collaborative result of many talented and devoted men and women helped to bring closure to many.

    In 1977 I joined Interdata. Held technical positions - technician to systems engineer. Logged air miles visiting locations worldwide, from Islands the size of a postage stamp with computers in bunkers to flight simulation labs, Swiss Banks and NASA. In the '80s I stepped into management roles in the services division in Technical Support. I helped lead the establishment of a Professional Services business, investing many years as a senior manager. The company enjoyed a talent level uncommon and was joined by Masscomp in the Late 80's. Helping with the Masscomp Merger in the services division in the US spent several months Japan. Later took take on the role of Professional Services Marketing Director. Market feedback was collected and we launched seven new Professional Services in 1994. Professional Services Revenue increased. I left Concurrent Computer Corporation in January 1995 after a long journey.These days I manage the "Concurrent Contrails" user group here.
