About Al Skucas

I am passionate about trails and their benefits to the broader community. I see non-motorized trails as assets that promote active and healthy living. I have witnessed the change within our region with the successful NorthStar Rails to Trails that has encouraged many seniors and young families to start cycling. Build it and they will come. I advocate and promote the opportunities that these abandoned rail beds provide as the base infrastructure for quality greenways trails. I promote and work on quality regional trails that can be an impact to the local, regional and provincial tourism economy.
