Representative experience includes: Joint Ventures: I represent a variety of real estate investors, including private equity funds, developers and institutional investors, in joint venture transactions involving all asset classes as well as investments in commercial real estate development, debt and preferred equity transactions.Lending: I represent both lenders and borrowers in various financing transactions, including mortgage, mezzanine, asset-based and CMBS loans. I also represents lenders and borrowers in workouts and restructurings of distressed debt, as well as the purchase and sale of debt positions. Acquisitions/Dispositions/M&A: A significant portion of my work involves the acquisition and disposition (through various structures, including M&A and portfolio deals) of office, retail, multifamily, health care, hospitality and mixed-use assets. REITs: I work extensively with REITs on a variety of transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, sale leasebacks, debt origination and REIT compliant operating leases. International Transactions: I have represented U.S.-based private equity clients investing in international real estate assets as well as international institutions and funds investing in U.S. real estate assets and debt.
