Fulfilled data requests for air pollution research from statistical models and pollution, atmospheric, census, demographic, survey, and geographic data. Managed relational and geospatial data on MariaDB and PostgreSQL (PostGIS). Implemented predictive models for air pollution in R. Conducted massively parallel model predictions to run on a Sun Grid Engine high-performance computing (HPC) cluster. Wrote and contributed to in-house R packages, Python and shell scripts, and Makefiles to carry out common tasks such as interacting with the database, operating the HPC cluster, and system maintenance. Produced shapefiles, codebooks, metadata, documentation, maps, tables, figures, charts, Rmarkdown documents, and Shiny dashboards. Developed Singularity and Docker images to containerize databases and predictive models, providing replicable, isolated, private runtime environments to protect personal identifiable information. Created tutorials for using GitHub, running predictions, and operating the HPC cluster.

Deployed surveys to the 100K+ users registered in FikriMühim’s database, carrying out market research for customers such as P&G, Unilever, and GfK. Operated SQL Server to handle user information and surveys. Wrote scripts in R and SQL to automate sampling and survey creation. Used R and SPSS for data cleanup and analysis, graphics, and reports. Developed heuristics to counter abuse. Delivered presentations on security and online survey platforms. Coordinated mass communications with users.

- With a team of five other researchers under the supervision of Daniel Morillo, I contributed to a research project called "Assessing personality online: When less is not more." I gathered data, wrote code, and contributed to the research deliverables.
