Altay Erol is a bespoke tailor and visiting consultant for MacAngus & Wainwright Bespoke Tailors & Shirt Makers based in the City Of London. My passion is creating beautiful handmade garments and providing a service that is second to none. Throughout the early days of my career, my apprenticeship was focused on the making side of things, such as jacket & trouser making, I was also trained around pattern cutting, hand finishing, and pressing, the most important aspects of creating well fitted bespoke garments. Over the years I have gained an understanding of the whole construction of a bespoke garment and how to make my clients look and feel great, regardless of their body shape. It gives me great pleasure to know my clients walk away feeling confident and can perform better in their profession because they are wearing a garment that makes them feel empowered. The power of a well fitted bespoke garment is truly what drives me to encourage more people to go through the whole bespoke process when buying their suits. As a consultant, it is my role to advise clients on fabric options, style, fit and variety. Typically my clients visit the shop for consultations and fittings. The beauty of being an English bespoke tailor and having our own workshop facilities is so that people can see for themselves the level of craftsmanship that goes into our garments. However, for those that work outside the city that cannot make it to the shop, I offer a visiting service to be of convenience.
