•2012: Implemented and support IT network at Subsidiary office in Kampala, Uganda. I am also currently in charge for ICT in the subsidiary company in Uganda.•2012: Single handedly implement the Volkswagen technical systems with CPN links, VPN links, ODIS (off board diagnostics and Information systems) system for diagnostics of vehicles.•2012: Implement new office network, DMS and network in line with CFAO HQ as well as Volkswagen guidelines for our sister office in Tanzania, Alliance Autos Limited. I am also running the day to day IT activities for the sister company.•2011: Implemented the TRA (Tanzania Revenue Authority), ESD (Electronic Signature Devices), as per legal requirement by the revenue authority.•2010: Setup point to point links and networks for CFAO branch offices located in Dar es Salaam. •2010: Successful migration of all users from Microsoft Outlook to Lotus Notes, with no loss of data and zero downtime.•2009: Migration of sever room and network overnight from old office to new one without total transparency to the users and zero downtime.•2008: Successful migration of company DMS from Automate (character based system) to Autoline fully GUI based system.•2007: Implement an IPSEC VPN link to the HQ based in France so that the office could enjoy full functionality of connecting to HQ based systems and synchronize with HQ Forest structure on Active Directory.Achievements•2011: Awarded CIO 100 certificate for attaining 42nd Position from top 100 organizations in East Africa. Also got recognition or Plus 1 award for being top in the automotive sector in East Africa.•2010: Awarded a CIO 100 certificate for being among the top 100 organizations in the CIO 100 Annual Award competition. Position attained 87th out of 100/.•Recognition on Mint Monday (MTI Base production) featuring on the cover page, with my personal initiative on IT Migration at the company.

• Set up a complete hotspot system running user authentication services, proxy server, bandwidth controller, DHCP Server, DNS Server. To date the Hotspot is still running on the same setup since 2003.• Set up a content management server, whereby every staff had to authenticate on the server in order to get access to any resource, be it internet or intranet. Based on the authentication profile, the user was either granted or denied access or on some instances limited to the access level.• During my tenure as IT Manager the hotel implemented an ERP system, Fidelio and Micros which is running to date. I oversaw the whole implementation and installation.• I also designed the website. • While I was at Golden Tulip Tanzania, the SADC (Sothern African Development Community) conference was hosted at the hotel, and because security also fell under IT, I was actively involved with the National Security committee (Usalama wa Taifa) in organizing and planning the whole event.

• I was tasked to conduct a business study of the way Africa Online Tanzania can move forward on the network / corporate business, without loosing the dialup revenues. I was given full mandate and made decisions ensuring that there is no loss of revenue.• I designed and implemented the solutions from the customer’s perspective as well as the company’s perspective.• I was tasked to achieve 4 corporate sales per month, which was quite a challenge, considering that the company had no network infrastructure to serve and support the corporate network based clients. Nevertheless I achieved an average of 5 to 6 corporate sales per month for the term I was there. These customers are still with Africa Online.• I was the youngest and most successful Network Executive from the East African Region.

• Visited clients and sorted their internet connectivity problems on CAT 5e connections. • In charge of Kariakoo area, whereby I designed the network for providing internet access to houses. This was done successfully.• I gave recommendations for wireless internet provision to the home users as well as the clients. I achieved this task before leaving the company.
