I am a litigator. My practice centers on the defense of professionals and businesses in the areas of transportation and catastrophic injuries, professional negligence, premises liability and general tort claims.I also serve as an advisor to businesses who seek to mitigate their overall litigation risk in the areas of motor carrier transportation and premises management (such as apartments and retail establishments). The best defense to litigation is to avoid it in the first place with aggressive strategies for managing, investigating and settling claims before they develop in complexity.I am admitted to practice in the federal and state (trial and appellate) courts of both Louisiana and Georgia, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. I have been admitted pro hac vice to litigate in other jurisdictions.

The highlight of my time at Montgomery Barnett was the opportunity to help the New Orleans Opera Association--the oldest grand opera company in America--recover control of its endowment funds.
