While awaiting the transfer of my RN license from Guyana, South America

From September 2015 to december 2016 I was involved in the managing of the day to day activities of the Infectious Disease Ward which dealt with the care and treatment of patients with tuberculosis. To ensure all patients there get the care and treatment required for the different stages and type of tuberculosis they acquired. To educate patients and relatives about the infection and treatment, encourage medication compliance and provide palliative care to patients. Ordering, packing and monitoring of stocks in and out on the unit thus ensuring the unit has all stocks needed to function effectively. Advocating for my patients to their doctors on any problem they may have be it with expressing their feelings to the doctors or reactions to medication. Providing updates and feed back to the medical or surgical team managing these patients. From January 2017 to September 2017 I was involved in the management of the male Medical ward. This ward managed patients with diabetes, chronic or acute renal failure, snake bites, malaria, HIV/AIDS, screening for tuberculosis and once confirmed facilitate transfer to the Infectious Diseases Ward, palliative care, patients that were co managed by the medical and surgical teams were transferred to the surgical units once the medical problem was resolved. Patient and family education on managing the disease along with diet.

I was involved in the receiving documenting of jobs providing customers with their references and dispatching of crews from various locations on jobs that were fixed by the company such as burst wires, fallen poles, no power to a building or community to name a few. Upon completion the completed notes were logged if not completed notes were made on the records so that other agents can follow the progress thus far in rectifying the problem in order to provide updates to the consumers. Calling customers to verify issue was resolved. Updating managers in various sections should their assidtance be needed ti rectify the problem that exist. Provide information to the system control department on any major issues that affected the system and caused the system to fail.

Assisted consumers wanting to port their number from one company to either tracfone or straight talk wireless. Aided in the release of numbers from our system to another company the customer was desirous of going to. Assisted in activation once the number was successfully transfered.
