I, Alton Mitchell am a 2015 college graduate from a University system of Georgia institution of Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia. Having earned an Associates of Science degree in 2013 and a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science in 2015 from this prestigious state university. Having a track record of strong work ethic by working two jobs and being a full-time college student the vast majority of my college career the internal ethic and drive of myself has been strongly demonstrated and proven. Following only weeks after graduation I was granted a freelance writer and photographer position at a small town newspaper in Alabama following a system of learned talent which has been a driving force of myself for the majority of my life. I applied to several media outlets in my hometown, but after lack of responses and rejections from those I started my own online publication serving the greater Columbus, GA area In June of 2016. I began to understand my passion for writing was growing and started my own online digital newspaper in my hometown of Columbus, Ga. Starting as a small home-based publication, we have since grown into a known publication in this community of nearly 250,000 residents.
