In this capacity also led Wells Fargo Real Estate Tax Service and Wells Fargo Reverse Mortgage Servicing 2010-2013. Responsible for delivering a superior customer experience that is equally matched with superior regulatory compliance, operational risk management, and exceeding financial and other performance objectives for a portfolio of 12 million residential mortgage, home equity, and Reverse customers. Span of control included operational expense responsibility of $100 mm, 600 FTE in sites across the United States, and revenue responsibility of $90mm.Primary emphasis in this role was to challenge and rapidly transform the business and operating models for these groups, improving the customer experience while rendering effective compliance and operational risk management disciplines. Focus areas included implementation of new digital customer outreach and business processes to drive simplicity and clarity for customers, anticipate and address customer needs, and to adapt loan servicing practices to the greater expectations of customers, shareholders, regulators, and capital markets partners.
