Provides financial expertise in the areas of: • Leading Planning and Reporting in AMEA, China and Japan Region (all locations and across all Divisions) • Ensure Roll-out of global Pricing, Measuring and Charging of REFS Service Catalog • Provide decision support for Investments/Projects • Lead Productivity & Offshoring/Outsourcing Initiatives • Define and setting up new global standards for Real Estate & Facility Services together with the colleagues and business in the other regions

Site Operation Department (starting April 2011)- Lead the Department controlling.- Responsible to analyze spending, develop new cost structures and reorganize department accounting structures.- Prepare financial structures for future operation and ensure readiness to integrate new Campus.Campus Implementation Department (starting August 2008)- Lead the department controlling.- Establish cost structures, allocation methodologies and reporting.Novartis Shanghai Campus Project (investment $ 1 bn) (starting August 2008)- Develop and establish the Project Controlling Team consisting of internal and external staff.- Introduce / adapt locally used SAP System.- Localization of the structures and processes implemented in the Basel Campus Project from 2002 to 2008.

Campus Project Basel, site St. Johann (investment $ 2 bn) (starting October 2002)- Strategic and operative cost planning und -control for the overall project.- Challenging und optimizing capital appropriation requests (CAR); leading the process.- Develop and maintain benchmark database for office and laboratory buildings.- Co-operation with selected assignments and contractual negotiations.- Develop and update the “Campus Project Manual”.- Establish presentations to hands of presenters for super ordinate committees.- Case by case production of financial supplier analysis.- Monthly calculation and analysis of all project related accruals.- Development of new „Novartis General Terms and Conditions for the procurement of technical goods and services“, in particular part construction planning and execution in German and English.- Development and introduction of new, standardized contracts for single, general planner and contractors in German and English.Campus Plus Project (starting February 2007)- Strategic and operative cost planning und -control for the overall project.- Co-operation with the establishment of the interaction Switzerland / France.- Challenging und optimizing of CAR; leading the process.Section ‚Project Management Real Estate’ (starting June 2003)- Introduction/optimization monthly project reporting.- Case by case development of workload and capacity analyses.- Regular analysis of the individual hour postings on projects (CATS).- Organization and execution of SAP training courses.- Integration department „Project Management Real Estate “, including - cost accounting, workflows, processes, budgeting and project supervision.

Establish and build up new department with focus on client consulting and project controlling. Projects have been executed for:Novartis International AG, Novartis Pharma AG, Syngenta Crop Protection AG:- Analysis of existing processes and regulations in order to develop, design and operate the ‘controlling instruments’ regarding cost, schedule und process controlling.- Design and establish individual project procedure manuals. Define, verify and monitor planned performances.- Execute and monitor the controlling activities with approximately 30 to 50 projects per year.- Excerpt of the worked on projects: Remodelling and renovation of the head offices Novartis and Syngenta, Merger Ciba/Sandoz based co-location of laboratories, Biotech production plant in Huningue/F.Novartis Pharma AG:Consulting and support to structure projects and contractual documents.Clariant (Switzerland) AG:Cost and schedule monitoring, providing monthly project progress reports within a general planner mandate.Evaluation, development and introduction of internal administration software.

Variety of roles and projects, most notably:- New Gotthard Base Tunnel- Underground Highway trough Basel which links the Swiss with the French Highway systems
