Allison Lukacsy-Love, AIA, AICP’s career represents an amalgamation of robust experiences and perspectives for equitable redevelopment of the built environment, informed by her architectural training and extensive community placemaking projects. She is a licensed Architect and certified City Planner with advanced degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and Cleveland State University. Allison creatively, collaboratively and tenaciously approaches opportunities and challenges with an inclusive, community-centered mindset to bring urbanist visions from idea to reality. Before assuming the role of Managing Director of Major Projects - with a focus on downtown and waterfronts - at the Greater Cleveland Partnership, Allison was the Director of Planning and Development at the City of Euclid where she led the $30 million Waterfront Improvement Plan from concept through construction. She previously worked as a Project Manager in architecture and real estate development firms in Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Shanghai, China. Allison is a Crain's Cleveland Business "40 under 40" and one of Cleveland Magazine’s “Most Interesting People”. She currently serves as an elected member of the APA Ohio Board of Trustees as its statewide treasurer and is the founder of the Cleveland chapter of the Awesome Foundation, a microgranting organization that recently surpassed the $40,000 giving mark. Allison is nationally recognized for her public art installations that partner with non-profits to advance a social cause, including “Bus Stop Moves”, “Give Box CLE” and “Phone Gallery”: Cleveland’s smallest space for art exhibition inside a once vacant pay phone box celebrating 10 years of exhibiting emerging artists in 2024. She is a mentor with College Now and a board member of Upcycle Parts Shop.Allison hails from the east coast, but considers herself a Clevelander following a move to the North Coast in 2011. When not working, she is living on the shores of Lake Erie in the Collinwood neighborhood of Cleveland, where she enjoys paddleboarding and watching stunning sunsets.In August 2020, Allison launched her own consulting firm, A Creative & Consulting, LLC.

Principal PlannerCity Of Euclid Mar 2016 - Dec 2020City Hall, Euclid, OhioEuclid Waterfront Improvements Plan – As the City of Euclid’s chief planner, Allison comprehensively manages the award-winning $30Millon, multi-phased 8-acre lakefront development to provide unprecedented public access to Lake Erie through the creation of a pier, ¾ mile boardwalk, beach and marina which moreover serve to mitigate a rapidly eroding shoreline and restore historic habitat. She is responsible for the constructability of Phase II – called brilliant and precedent setting for the Great Lakes by PD art and architecture critic Steven Litt (11.2017) - including gaining easement agreements from over 100 property owners in the project area, writing and administration over $7M in federal, state and county grant funds for implementation, and design and contract coordination between the contractor, engineer, landscape architect and regulators. Phase II, which serves as one of the largest projects the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ Coastal Management Office has permitted, involves the continuous management of numerous property owners including private residents, management companies, and developers. Furthermore, Allison promotes the development project through innovative practices including hosting mobile workshops, virtual reality ‘tours’, and partner cultivation.Euclid Master Plan – Allison's role includes the development and administration of the city’s Master Plan, adopted by City Council in Spring 2018, including the curation of an extensive public process including survey tools and stakeholder engagement meetings. She was responsible for soliciting, interviewing, and selecting Steering Committee stakeholders; coordinating meetings dates and locations; and served as the City’s liaison to Cuyahoga County Planning. As an advocate for designing resilient communities, complete streets, public art, and smart growth, Allison’s influence on the Plan will impact future planning and development. -
