After finishing my Bachelor's Degree I was offered a traineeship in Baltnav, consisting of full-time employment and several shipping-related courses offered by the Danish Shipping Academy. Joined BaltNav as a student assistant shortly after beginning my studies in Copenhagen. During this time I assisted with;- Lay-time calculations for the entire fleet.- Creating an overview of- and chasing for overdue invoices.- Freight rate calculations- Purchasing and installing IT-Equipment both in head office and in global offices. - Instructing new employees in how to correctly use software such as MS Office, IMOS and Mark 5.
