I am accountable for first level IT issue resolution including all desktop, network, telephone and monitoring of within SLA. Acting as the central point for issue escalation, resolution and investigation ensuring all fixes completed with minimal SLA breaches, I ensure the account is maintained as ‘green’I monitor the clearing platform (UNIX/Informix SQL/Mainframe/Microsoft Windows) for failed processes – creating fix or passing out work to relevant teams for resolution. Maintaining industry standard back-ups for all data, conducted daily, weekly and monthly in addition to full root back-ups are all part of my responsibilities.I undertake the physical cabling for PC's/printers back to network and telephones/faxes to the Exchange – regularly updating patching plans and ensuring all workstations and devices are connected within timescales set. I am also skilled in the creation of scripts using UNIX and SQL to support system monitoring/database interrogation and production of daily/ad hoc MI reporting.

I ran the Postal Payments Service (PPS) with three Team Leaders and more than 40 staff to meet daily SLA within processing window of 06.00 – 17.00I fixed processing issues including staffing levels alongside delivery and technical challenges – escalating as required to relevant teams for swift resolution. This involved conducting daily meetings with Team Leaders to disseminate information and ensure all staff were aware of any processing challenges.
