As a fifth grade math and science teacher, I am responsible for: Planning and implementing lessons and activities that align with the Florida Standards for up to 44 students. Using data to drive instruction in order to meet the specific needs of each student. Using different instructional approaches in order to engage and the different learning styles of each student. Weekly communication with parents in order to promote the home/school relationship.Weekly team meetings with grade level teachers, administration, and RTI dept. to review data and adjust interventions. Building Relationships with students and families to promote a safe space for learning and communication.Ongoing professional development to stay on top of the latest teaching techniques.
