I started my work life in November 2007 as a private in the Portuguese army, later on, I was able to raise myself to the rank of Sergeant having the responsibility to lead a small team of people to accomplish given tasks. When my time in the army came to an end I had to reinvent myself and at that moment I found my work passion.I had my first contact with software development at university in 2013 and in the next 3 years I finished my degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. My first job as an engineer was as a Hardware Test Automation Engineer, where my main focus was on creating test equipment for production environments to ensure product quality. The creation of the test equipment was done end-to-end, starting from the product analysis and definition of test cases to hardware designing and software development and even statistical analysis to ensure test capability. After 4 years as a Hardware Test Automation Engineer, I figured out I wanted to focus more on software development. At this moment I had my second reinvention and started working on CI/CD mainly for android platform development. The funny part is that I continued to do the same thing, but, instead of a hardware product I had a Software one.My mindset was the right one but I learned a lot more about software development and the software development process.I love a good challenge, I am self-driven and self-taught.I strongly believe putting effort and resilience into things you love is going to create great technical solutions. The creation of something great will always lead to an awesome sense of fulfillment. My current professional goal is to continue to improve my skills and vision as an Integration Engineer because in the future I see myself as a Product Owner for integration projects.
