The job itself was in Vicksburg, MS, where the Army Corps of Engineers maintains the Engineer Research Development Center (ERDC) and the largest supercomputer in the DoD. The job involved application benchmarking of supercomputers, both the government's as well as new ones being offered by vendors to the DoD.
