- Deputy leader of a €2.5bn portfolio of stressed and distressed debt with c.80 customers.- Line Manager for 8 VPs, 4 AVPs and 4 Analysts.- Oversee the implementation of credit strategies and objectives across the portfolio to minimize impairment and protect the banks brand and reputation.- Responsible for ensuring there is a robust Monitoring and Control framework around all of portfolio. - Support the management of timely upward engagement through Exco and other stakeholders on appropriate material impairment, client sensitive and PR related cases.- Lead negotiations with customers (at board and senior management level), advisors and other lenders.- Coordinate the involvement of external firms (e.g. lawyers, financial advisors, surveyors) and other teams in the recovery/turnaround process.- Negotiation and implementation of distressed debt sales (where required to deliver an immediate exit).- High level of personal discretion.
