Alvaro is an eternal apprentice who turned out to study architecture. He loves reading and writing, particularly about the ways in which different disciplines mesh in a coherent but unexpected way. Alvaro is spearheading a revamped version of The Centre Conscious Design while leading its peruvian chapter. Besides these experiences, he's been involved in architectural education, design and research, and construction management. Beyond his focus in architecture, he's been dedicated to improving education in Peru via his work in Enseña Peru, The Democratic School of Huamachuco, Ruwasunchis and Voluntades. As a result he became a Teach for All fellow, and continued to promote cultural and education activities in rural areas through the peruvian chapter of the CCD.
