Internship in the Computer Vision and Autonomous Systems (CVAS) group of the Computing Science Department. Developed a Deep Learning framework for the software retina. The objective was the classification of video sequences using the software retina preprocessing for efficient deep learning application. The videos were taken using a handheld smartphone camera with only constraint of keeping the object approximately at the center of the field of view. The preprocessing, training and testing pipeline and network architecture design were all part of my tasks as a trainee. This internship was realised under the Erasmus+ program
