Shortly after graduating in business management and working at a major logistics corporation in London, UK, I decided to move to Toronto and pursue a purpose-driven career, one that allows me to work with and for a variety of small and large social ventures, both local and international. In these organizations, I have the opportunity to play different roles, with a focus on generating revenue and building community engagement. After living and working in Toronto for almost 5 years, I decided to move back to Europe to be closer to my family. With that also came an exciting new career path as a Freelance Consultant in Fundraising, Social Entrepreneurship and Community Engagement. In this new adventure, I have worked with small and micro non-profits in Europe and North America. These include established charities and social start-ups in diverse sectors: International Development, STEM, Community Development & Social Enterprise, Literacy, Adult Education, Youth Empowerment and Food Security. My support for these organizations has been in grant writing, diversifying their revenue streams, developing and executing fundraising and stewardship strategies, building stakeholder engagement plans, and business modelling.
