This entailed researching data, performing walkdowns and communicating with other departments for the successful development of efficient work order instruction packages. Achievements include: Reduced materials inventory cost by identifying reserved excess materials in various work projects. Improved the journeyman electrician’s work efficiency by streamlining work processes and work instructions. Developed an electrical procedure to properly perform maintenance on legacy breakers.

• Developed Electrical engineering design change packages for nuclear power plant system modifications and implementation. Maintained up to date electrical system functions by modernizing older systems to more efficient designs. Achievements include: Reduced personnel injuries in emergencies by upgrading the plants emergency lighting system from halogen bulb lighting to brighter more reliable Led lighting. Reduced the breaker maintenance time of the power plants 480v load centers by upgrading from mechanical trip operation to solid state trip devices.  Reduced the time to search and track modifications by creating a streamlined searchable database.
