Kids learned the basics of soccer twice per week at their park and competed every Saturday against other parks in the league.

Promoted health and wellness in five alternative Chicago Public Schools to predominately Latino and African American students through class presentations and discussions on nutrition and fitness, teen pregnancy prevention, and violence prevention. Empowered students to become well-informed health consumers that inspired them to make healthier choices. Conducted ongoing process and peer evaluation to improve program's effectiveness.
