Secondment from MinLaw. SIMI's goal is develop and maintain systems which advance the professionalism of the mediation industry. We collaborate with various stakeholders to raise and promote professional mediation standards, in Singapore and beyond. Responsible for the review and development of systems which will uphold a quality mark for accredited mediators, and mediation training and service providers. Overseer of all of SIMI's corporate functions, including Finance and HR.

Secretariat/Team lead, Pro-Enterprise Panel (PEP) - Secondment from MinLaw. Team manager analysing/facilitating solutions to regulatory issues faced by businesses on government regulations and administrative processes, thus helping them reduce regulatory compliance costs. Assessment of applications to support innovative business ideas via the First Mover Framework. Supporting communications exercises to develop and educate the public on PEP's pro-enterprise thrust. Part of team helping to develop pro-enterprise regulatory capabilities across the Public Service. Competition and consumer protection (CP) desk - Supervision of small but busy team overseeing and contributing to positions on various initiatives concerning fair trading, product safety, and competition. Working with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission of Singapore (CCCS), Enterprise Singapore (ESG) and Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE) to address varied topics, particularly CP issues surrounding prepayments, online transactions, product safety, product standards, etc. Also part of the Secretariat for the Competition Appeals Board.

Policy staff interfacing/consulting with public sector, industry and international stakeholders on various aspects of intellectual property policy. Responsibilities include coordinating policy development of various areas of Singapore's IP infrastructure (including legislation reform and changes to procedures, administrative systems, etc) and advancing Singapore's IP regime. Team manager for policy matters in copyright, IP enforcement and international affairs.

In-house legal counsel in Office of Legal Affairs, assisting in provision of legal advice to several faculties, schools and departments on a range of corporate transactions and university activities, often with intellectual property elements.

In-house legal counsel managing legal risks for NEA in a wide variety of corporate legal issues and transactions, as well as various legislation matters.

Corporate real estate practice, covering general conveyancing (commercial and residential properties), financing related property transactions, property due diligence for bank mergers and REITS, commercial leasing and housing developers’ projects.

General practice, covering both general litigation and general corporate/commercial matters; probate & administration of estates and family law. Appeared in the High Court and all Subordinate Courts. Gazetted as prosecutor acting on behalf of various town councils.
