I work in the media department of JB HI-FI: Processing and receiving stock, dealing with invoices, merchandising stock on the floor, writing price points and reviews, interacting with and helping customers, writing emails, cash handling, and drawing promotional artwork for new releases.My time at JB HI-FI has bolstered my communication and inter-personal skills. I communicate with customers in-store, over-the-phone, and through email every day, which requires reacting to and solving a myriad of problems with a wide range of personality types.

I designed posters and promotional videos for local company Tombstone Entertainment.During my time working for Tombstone Entertainment I learned how to best layout and organise the same content for different formats - both digital and physical (Facebook/Instagram posts, cover photos, YouTube videos, physical posters). This is critical to engaging the audience on specific platforms. I often had to work on very strict deadlines with short time-frames between briefing and delivery. Adhering to the relevant artists' and companies' visual brands and identities. I responded promptly and accurately to revisision requests and welcomed feedback. This experience augmented what I had learned about visual communication in my degree.I did this in addition to my hours at JB HI-FI.
