I am a senior mechanical engineering student at SJSU seeking full-time positions after graduation (May 2023). I want to contribute to a team in that values sustainability in order to protect our environment. When my college journey began at Santa Rosa Junior College, I was not sure what I wanted to pursue in a career. However during my time at SRJC, I saw first hand the devastating effects of wildfires. Born and raised in Sonoma County, CA and seeing how my community was affected by these tragic events, I realized I wanted to apply my passion for engineering towards creating a more sustainable future.The projects I completed in courses have led me to take initiative outside of the classroom. I am currently the Assistant Suspension Lead for San Jose State University's Formula SAE team. This position has allowed me to experience the engineering process beginning to end, from concept design to a finished product.I am looking forward to making a difference in how we approach engineering problems of the future.
