In this role, I mentored a 165-person workforce in ensuring the safety and security of 30 international sites spanning five continents, 1,000+ people, and hundreds of millions of dollars in equipment for an energy solutions leader.Planning, installing, operating, and demobilizing power plants, we administered a multi-million-dollar budget to screen vendors, devise project work scopes, and conduct site assessments and audits. Together, we delivered these outcomes to further the mission and objectives of APR Energy:►Contributed hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue by gathering vital information in post-hurricane Puerto Rico, enabling bidding of a lucrative energy contract by conducting site reconnaissance, commercial intelligence collecting, and human capital development. ►Exported hundreds of millions of dollars of improperly imported power plant gear, while shielding the client from reputational risk. Conducted interviews for issue understanding, viewed the asset location in an unstable geography, and placed political pressure on country agents to allow eventual export.►Extracted and exported tens of millions of dollars of APR equipment within a restricted country environment by promptly identifying the root causes of complex problems and formulating innovative solutions for mission success. Leading crisis response and convening disaster units, my team served as the initial point of contact during emergencies and safeguarded project viability void of future penalties, non-performance charges, or loss of business reputation.
