Within the context of Group direction, sets the business direction for IT, provides the managerial leadership of the IT team and develops strategies and tactics and to ensure the capability, processes, and execution are in place for developing the IT software, hardware infrastructure as well as standards and practices to support the Group’s business targets.

· Championed a global effort to transform the support organization into customer-focused service organization· Developed and executed staffing strategies in respond to the resource shift/reduction· Delivered global IT project implementation including the planning and deployment strategy to complete a massive deployment smart phone and new laptops within a year - an award winning initiative• Delivered a POC of VDI including the infrastructure build out, use case development and cost benefit analysis

Direct the IT function for Asia Pacific region with offices at Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Korea, Japan, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and India. · Led a team of 80+ subordinates supporting over 6000 employees across the region and administer IT budget of 10 million· Built/managed the business relationship with function leaders across Asia· Provided leadership and assured the alignment between company/departmental goal and individual’s IDP· Derived and enforced global policies and processed across the regions· Managed numerous corporate integration (merger and acquisition)· Vendor management and responsible for evaluating global/regional contracts· Be part of the decision making process on IT strategies and technology roadmap· Managed and accountable for the IT services rollout across APAC, major functions including end user support, office expansion and relocation, data center support, etc.· Responsible for application solution and workflow re‐engineering supporting internal business units· Served as the go‐to person for CIO organization in the region

Assume responsibilities for regional data center and IT infrastructure within region with coverage includingHong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Australia, mainly focusing on China (around 50%). · Direct reporting to Asia CIO for all technology services related issue· Led the implementation of enterprise IT solutions, including ERP/MRP and PeopleSoft from technical perspective· Responsible for the regional datacenter operations, including built out, daily operations, change control, security and standard, capacity planning and disaster recovery· Conducted internal review and worked with internal IT audit to support Sarbanes Oxley compliance· Supported the NT domain, desktop and Email Services for 2000+ users across 10 countries within Asia· Led the country ITs to implement network infrastructure upgrade, application rollout and software deployment· Maintained a 2nd level IT support center within region, backing up the 1st level IT support within countries· Migration of NT4 to Active Directory and implementation of next generation email system· Vendor management, pricing negotiation for whole region· Budgeting and cost management for all technology services within region

Assume responsibilities for all technology services in the region. This is inclusive, but not limited to thefollowing services covering both production and disaster recovery environment. · Assistance to IT Director on all technology services related issue, including project progress, technology trends, IT securities issue, budgeting and quality of services· Vendor management, including data center outsourcing services and SLA management· Project management, include weekly reporting to New York HQ· Database administration, including Sybase ASE, Oracle and SQL server· System administration, including network infrastructure and UNIX boxes· Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Management· Focal point for problem escalation and coordination with Corporate Technology Services in NJ· Coordination of the global system standard deployment, including UNIX / NT and database security standard, BCP standard and anti‐virus standard· High availability (HA) architecture design and implementation
