I believe that outworking others with my sheer indefatigability gives me the best edge in this game. //If I have to use two words to describe myself, it would be discipline and determination.Allow me to briefly introduce my academic background, I have participated in various academic related competitions, including the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IMMC), the 9th Hong Kong University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) and so on.However, when it comes to stepping into the real world, I believe what’s more important is practical skills and experience, even if you have the best certification in the world, if you lack the practical knowledge, you are still not getting anywhere.Therefore, instead of solely studying the textbooks, I focus a lot on real-life experiences and practical work. Over the years, I have endeavoured in the business world, discovering new business opportunities and models constantly. For example, I have looked into how E-commerce works, engaged in writing blogs and affiliate marketing, as well as starting my own clothing brand. To name just a few. I wouldn’t call any of them successful, because they weren’t. But what’s more important is that I learned from my failures and mistakes, and gained valuable hands-on experiences that equipped me with the skills to handle any real-time challenges and come up with innovative ideas.
