I was involved in research studying the effects of limb loading during tibial fracture rehabilitation. Specifically, my work involved developing wireless feedback for a load analysis system in order to observe the effects of real time feedback on patient outcomes. For this project, I wrote microcontroller firmware that sampled data from load sensors and transmitted to a Bluetooth module via serial communication, customized firmware for a Bluetooth module to order handle specific data packet structures, and developed an Android app that communicated with a Bluetooth module to display data in real time.
