As a major gift officer, worked with alumni in Washington, DC, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina to fund a $242M capital campaign that finished $17M over goal. Developed national network for reunion classes, leading committees of class leaders, and securing the largest 25th Reunion class gift to date. Helped new president understand University alumni culture and tailor messaging accordingly. Represented the University and shared key messages at meetings and events throughout the Southeast.

International professional services firm Arthur Andersen retained 85,000 employees in 84 countries and served many of the Fortune 100. Promoted to serve on the executive staff of the firm’s Global Leadership Team (Office of the CEO). Developed firm’s “Market Integration” go-to-market viewpoint and authored the related white paper shared at the World Economic Forum. Worked with external consultants and firm leaders to develop new worldwide strategy and related rebranding initiative; worked with local managing partners to sell the new vision; developed executive book concept; structured and authored executive communication, and created detailed business plans and key themes for North American operating units.

Trained and served as a management consultant with Arthur Andersen’s $1B U.S. Business Consulting practice, helping major telecom firms develop and launch a new internet product and conduct due diligence for the merger yielding Verizon. Designed a new disease-control program development process for a $750M national non-profit. Helped U.S. Managing Partner develop and deploy new operating model by working with local leaders, developing detailed business plans, and designing key messages and themes for delivery by executives and via internal and external channels.
