As the product owner for Linux, my primary responsibility is to provide leadership and guidance to a group of engineers who are responsible for 2nd and 3rd-line support for OS deployments, Life Cycle Management (LCM), and data centre migrations. I bring my extensive IT experience of 25 years to this Core Infrastructure team within IT Operations at AirFranceKLM Information Services.In this role, I leverage my business scope and expertise to offer a fresh perspective on deployments and day-to-day operations in the engineering layer of Linux deployments. I actively contribute to addressing challenging subjects such as driving greening initiatives by supporting the business and undertaking various Life Cycle Management projects.Additionally, I work towards the Move2Cloud strategy wherever possible, aiming to lower our emissions and create a more sustainable environment.My ultimate goal is to provide a stable and resilient environment for our Linux deployments, ensuring the smooth functioning of critical systems and optimizing efficiency. I collaborate closely with stakeholders, engineers, and other teams to align our efforts and deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the business.
