Andre will begin his work as CEO of Equity Partnerships of Colorado on July 1, 2023. This organization serves as a consulting partner for school districts across the nation. As a former teacher, principal, district leader and emergency manager this new role will provide districts with transformative guidance and support. Andre accepted the position of Senior Vice President of Educational Transformation for MGT in October 2021. Andre will serve as transformation expert for districts across North America.Andre was appointed Chief Academic Officer on March 6, 2018 in the Aurora Public School System. Andre served as the Interim Chief Academic Officer beginning September 22, 2017. Prior to this appointment Andre served as Director of Learning Community Schools in the Aurora Public School System in Aurora, Colorado since July 1, 2014. Aurora Public School Schools serves more than 60,000 students in 54 schools. Aurora Public Schools is an urban school district in the Denver Metropolitan area.Andre Wright was appointed Area Executive Director for the Northeast Learning Community in the Fulton County School System in March of 2012. Fulton County Schools is an urban Atlanta-area school district with nearly 100,000 students in 100 schools and employs nearly 14,000 staff and support personnel. Prior to assuming the role of Area Executive Director in 2012, Andre previously served as the Principal and Instructional leader of Woodland Middle School in the Fulton County School System from 2008 leading Woodland to a Distinguished Title I school status every year under his direction. Andre was promoted after 1 year as an Assistant Principal in the Fulton County School System in 2007. He also served in the role of Assistant Principal for three years in the Dekalb County School System. He began his teaching career as a middle school language arts teacher.
