This is being realised through a growing portfolio of brands and businesses that currently includes Otherside Brewing Co, Nomads Food and Catering, venues Otherside Brewhouse, Freo.Social and Mojos and activations such as 'Welcome to the Otherside'.Through our activities we also support and amplify WA’s creative sector through strategic creative partnerships and our 'Tapped by Otherside' program which has seen more than $150,000 invested into supporting the endeavours of WA’s young artists, creatives and musicians since 2016.

We’re for the amateurs, the professionals and everyone in between. We’re not selective of genres, nor are we elitist, bureaucratic or remote. Instead, through fusing meaningful connections, providing suitable opportunities and embracing all who wish to play, listen and partake, we’re creating a thriving music industry that’s a testament to the talent and passion within it.

The West Australian Music Industry Association Inc (WAM) exists to develop the Western Australian contemporary music. WAM is a non-profit membership based association, and the peak representative body for contemporary music in WA. WAM defines contemporary music as being “music that is currently being written and recorded, or written and performed”. WAM takes as broad a possible view of genres which can be considered to be “contemporary music”. For example Blues, Contemporary Classical, Country, Electronic/ Dance, Experimental, Folk, Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Metal, Pop, Rock, Roots, World are all of interest. In seeking to develop the industry WAM assists in generating an environment where more Western Australians are able to sustain music industry careers. These careers may include musicians, technicians, managers, promoters, record labels and many others. WAM’s focus is therefore on seeking to create commercial outcomes for our constituents. For WAM, this purpose is our “bottom line”, our raison d’etre, towards which all of the efforts of the organisation strive to make a contribution.

The Communications Council is the peak body representing agencies in the marketing communications industry to media, government and the public.The organisation was formed bringing together the Advertising Federation Australia (AFA), the Australasian Writers and Art Directors Association (AWARD), the Account Planning Group (APG) and the Australasian Promotional Marketing Association (APMA).The Council creates a footprint across the increasingly integrated world of creative, digital, healthcare, design, direct marketing, promotion, PR, plus creative production companies and strategic planning consultancies.Based on the concept of ‘together stronger’ it champions a proactive and united industry approach.We help grow member businesses and develop individual careers through the provision of professional development services, advocacy and support. As the marketing communications industry’s not-for-profit peak body, the Council encompasses over 4,500 individuals from more than 200 agencies and consultancies. The Council has a corporate and individual membership structure.

AWESOME Arts is a not-for-profit contemporary arts company for young people. AWESOME aims to engage with 6-16 year olds through exciting, inspiring, accessible and challenging arts activities and programs. Based in the Perth CBD, AWESOME presents the annual AWESOME Festival, the Creative Challenge and Special Programs.
