I hold a bachelor’s degree in applied psychology, awarded by The University of South Africa, and have worked in Management, Business Development and Training for more than 18 years. My time working in Sub Saharan Africa on large development projects for clients such as Anadarko, ENI, TecknipFMC, Liebherr, Barloworld, the UN and UK Aid has provided me with a solid understanding of international business practices and the implementation of training in emerging markets.Over the past 10+ years, I have won several large tenders on international Mining, Engineering, Oil & Gas and Agriculture projects. The bulk of which were for the empowerment, upliftment, and training of the local communities in and around these projects. With the following being worthy mentions:- Management, reintegration, and training of 100 Nigerian ex-militants in various engineering programs as part of an Amnesty International program that would see these individuals find employment within the oil industry.- Entrepreneurial development programme for 500 locals in Northern Mozambique funded by UK Aid. The project allowed the beneficiaries to capitalize on the influx of international investors due to the discovery of oil and gas in Northern Mozambique by forming part of the local supply chain to these international companies.- Zambian agricultural project: 1000 retrenched miners were given the portable skills, tools and support needed to develop an agricultural value chain. This included farming, packaging, transporting, wholesale, and retail processes. (From farm to table)I have exceptional creative abilities, an engaging personality, highly developed communication skills and a talent for managing complex projects. With my solid background in business management, operational planning and revenue generation as well as a good understanding of most educational bodies/authorities both locally and internationally I am committed to an educational system geared for the 21st century.
