Alx Bear has spent the majority of her career at the intersection of music, technology, and entertainment. After a stint in the art world at Christie’s, she saw an opportunity at Peloton to change the way that people experienced and interacted with content and technology — helping to pave the way for Peloton to become a market leader in the fitness space. Alx has navigated Peloton's complex content rights structure to secure hundreds of domestic and international music deals; including with major labels and publishers, DSPs, and PROs.Alx is currently the Senior Legal Managing Director of the Brand, Advertising, and Media Legal Team at Peloton. She provides legal and strategic counsel in connection with a broad range of matters including emerging digital media platforms, content development and production, digital music licensing, marketing and communications, talent relations, apparel, licensing, and business affairs. A respected thought leader in the emerging technology space, Alx regularly consults startups in the health & wellness, entertainment, and technology sector and supports Peloton's involvement in Techstars Music (a music-focused start-up incubator). When she’s not at Peloton, you can find her photographing musicians and live events around the world.
