Operations Supervisor
Afton, Wyoming, United States
I began my tenure at the bank as a New Accounts representative and, following a week of training, seamlessly transitioned into a temporary role assisting as a teller due to staff shortages. During this period, I acquired comprehensive training on the bank's software system, Jack Henry, and contributed significantly for four months until suitable replacements were hired.Upon leaving the teller line, I earned a promotion to Operations Supervisor, securing a dedicated office to fulfill the responsibilities inherent to my new title. In this elevated role, I successfully managed various key functions, including: Teller Drawer Monitoring: Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring and balancing of teller drawers, encompassing individual over/short GLs. ATM Balancing: Performing weekly and monthly balancing for both on and off-site ATMs. BSA Officer Role: As the bank's BSA Officer, I processed OFAC hits and managed Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) for large-cash transactions. Branch Capture/Proof: Overseeing the Branch Capture/Proof process, digitally scanning each credit and debit for seamless processing at our center and subsequent crediting to customer accounts. Customer Service/Support: Serving as the go-to resource for extensively researching and resolving issues related to customer accounts. Loan Processor: Handling the processing of consumer, commercial, and real estate loans, including the coordination of required information with our loan hub to facilitate the printing and signing of official forms by customers and loan officers. Record Retention: Managing a complex filing system, ensuring compliance with federal record retention requirements, and overseeing the appropriate disposal of obsolete records. Occasional IT Support: Serving as the primary contact for our branch in addressing software or hardware updates when required.
