As the owner and CEO of altMBA, I'm leading the organization into its next phase, building on the foundation laid by our founder, Seth Godin. Over 6,000 leaders from 90 different countries have taken the altMBA. I'm committed to continuing altMBA's work of providing a community that's curious, open and respectful.

In 2020, Seth sold altMBA and the Akimbo workshops. I was one of two long-term employees who bought the business. We co-lead and managed the team. I was responsible for the bottom-line of the business including but not limited to operations, marketing, technology, finance, legal, human resources, and business strategy. After three years, we realized the two brands, altMBA and Akimbo, each deserved to stand on their own. I spun-off altMBA into a new organization, altMBA LLC, which I own and operate.

Leading a team, I built systems to expand and scale our product offerings to over a dozen online workshops. Two of Seth's most successful—The Marketing Seminar and The Creative's Workshop—each went on to become best-selling books after they were developed as workshops.

Working closely with Seth Godin, I had the opportunity to help craft our branding and user experience—adding magic and delight to every interaction.

For five years I was fortunate enough to collaborate with Seth on a variety of projects. Most notable among them, being the designer and creative director for the redesign of Seth's Blog as it moved from TypePad to WordPress and switched domains to seths.blog. Seth writes about the post-industrial revolution, the way ideas spread, marketing, quitting, leadership and most of all, changing everything.

I worked at the intersection of design, technology, and business strategy. By combining the skills of an artist with those of a technologist, I'm able to solve problems. The overlap allows me to bring a creative problem-solving process that results in beautifully designed products and profound strategic insights.

As an independent designer and studio owner, I created beautiful and magical designs on my own terms. This experience honed my skills in design and entrepreneurship, preparing me for my future leadership roles.

I led the redesign and relaunch of Danielle's best-selling book, The Desire Map. I also worked on exploratory work for DANIELLE Magazine.

At The Domino Project, a publishing house founded by Seth Godin and powered by Amazon, I served as Creative Director. In just six months, we published ten best-selling books.

I co-lead the organization as we fulfilled our mission "to work with communities to address critical health and social issues."I was responsible for managing day-to-day operations, writing proposals, grant reporting, cultivating individual donors, planning galas, and all the other tasks necessary of a small nonprofit leader to make a positive impact in our community.

As an Executive Associate at the Donors Forum of Chicago, I assisted the President of a regional nonprofit and philanthropic membership organization. I staffed the Resource Development Committee and aided the fundraising team in writing proposals and preparing grant reports while developing and maintaining a fundraising database.
